Annual Events In Glenwood Springs
The oldest continuously held civic celebration west of the Mississippi is celebrated in June with an artisan’s fair, parade, music, a running race and more. The town sells out during the festival, so make lodging reservations early. 6.17.2016
Savor the tastes of the season at this weekly farmers’ market held every Tuesday, June – September, from 4 – 8 p.m. in downtown Glenwood Springs. In addition to the farm-fresh harvest, local honeys and wine, there’s music, cooking demos and more.
Summer of Music
This free 6-week concert series takes place in Two Rivers Park every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. beginning in June. Over the years it has become a venue for both established performers and up-and-coming musical talent.
Wild West Fermentation Fest
The best breweries, cideries and distilleries from across the West showcase their craft fermented beverages. Food and local retail vendors and live music add to the festivities. The event is 21+, and a portion of the proceeds support the Glenwood Springs Arts Council.
Glenwood Springs Fourth of July Celebration
Old fashioned games, a community BBQ, 4k Firecracker Run, live music and a DJ are all part of Glenwood Springs' annual celebration of American independence. The evening concludes with a fireworks display (conditions permitting).
Music on the Mountain
On select Saturdays nights, in May, June, August and September, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park hosts Music on the Mountain, a concert series that features dance bands, drink specials and a free tram ride up the mountain in exchange for bringing a canned food item to help support the local food bank.
